Getting a-head of ourselves

The Art Gallery of Alberta is hosting the work of London-based sculptor Ron Mueck from June 20 to September 9, 2009. Mueck’s sculptures faithfully reproduce the minute detail of the human body, but play with scale to produce disconcertingly jarring visual images.
Take this massive reproduction of Mueck’s head for example…yikes!
